MARKETING IS FREEDOM

Mrketnig is Freedom

This year, in the summer, I turn 77 years old. If I had learned to read before I was 25 years old and had the book, Marketing is Freedom, my net worth today would be in the millions.

You may think I am overstatement the influence of one book; that I am exaggerating the effects one book can have on the life of an individual. Well, folks. Think again!

Let me ask you this;

  • Did any class throughout your entire academic career teach you one lesson on acquiring staggering amounts of money?
  • Did any class in your academic career teach one financial class related to aquation?
  • Were your parents in a position of great wealth who could teach you the steps, rules, clues, formula, or magic spells one uses to become wildly wealthy?
  • Or were your parents, like so many others in our great nation, hardworking, middle-class, paycheck-to-paycheck people?
  • Have you ever known anyone who made staggering amounts of money? You know the type I mean; one of those on the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous program?
  • Did you even know how to write a check after you had set up your first checking account?
  • Or know how to handle money, save, and build for the future?
  • When your parents were of retirement age, could they afford to do all the things in their golden years spoken of when they were younger?

My answer to all of these questions is a flat-out NO!

Marketing if Freedom is written by a man who came from a financial background like many of us. His parents were not wealthy either. However, from a young age, he began working for himself. In many ways, I could relate to and understand his life story. Not being a computer-age tech child, I cannot by any means understand all of that tech stuff used in this day and age. However, from his presentation of the information; I got it! The more I read it, the more I understood the concepts and principles. I realized this book was an instruction manual without being a rigid A, B, C, do it this way book. It certainly was a far cry from the ‘Do-it-this-way accounting book I tried to read in high school. That thing put me to sleep!

Marketing is Freedom is, not only filled with remarkable knowledge presented in what I would call a personal story format. Its business information is not ‘This is how it used to be done.’ Outdated and not practical in today’s changing marketplace. Marketing is Freedom not only is current for today, but it is applicable in the fast-paced ever-changing marketing industry. The reason for that is, from the time the author was young and in business for himself, he could see which way trends were heading and got ahead of them. When you read his book, Marketing is Freedom, you will easily see that even his book is written to be applicable for the far reaches into the future.

Now, I ask you, if you want to have your slice of the abundant wealth pie, does it not make sense to own and READ a book to use as a business handbook for the rest of your life? I can assure you; outrageously wealthy people do not read just one book once and then put it on their bookshelf for display. Just like Christians read their Bible regularly and continuously, smart moneymakers around the world read motivational, informative, practical business manuals daily.

If you want a better life than the one you currently have; if you want to own your life, learn from someone who has done it. Learn from someone who has the type of life you want. The man who wrote Marketing if Freedom, did just that. He found people who had the type of life he wanted and asked them to be a part of his life. He asked them to mentor him. With profound dedication, he learned everything they had to offer.

You can do the same thing. You can change your life to be what you dreamt when you were a child; when you still believe you were Superman or Superwoman, and that magically anything was possible. It still is possible and you don’t need a magic wand to accomplish those dreams. Even as an adult, it is still possible to believe you are Superman or Superwoman. I still believe I am ten feet tall and bulletproof. Now that I have read Marketing is Freedom and have applied so many of the teachings within the cover, I am more convinced than ever that I am ten feet tall and bulletproof. My life is moving in the direction I dreamt about in my youth. From reading this book, I realize no dream is ever completely dead unless you have given it last rights.

Of course, to accomplish this, you cannot give up on yourself along the way. When things get tough, when one obstacle after another is put into your path, and they will be, you cannot give up. Remember, nothing worthwhile comes easy. You can find proof of this if you think back to your childhood. You didn’t give up when you were first learning to walk, nor did you do so when you were first learning to ride a two-wheel bicycle. How many times did you miss the basket you were aiming to sink a rimless shot? Or fall when you were roller-skating? If you apply the stick-to-itiveness every child trying to learn something new applies to the task, you shall not fail either.

This financial freedom road is not quick, smooth, and short. Just like life is a marathon, the road to financial abundance is a marathon as well. But, after reading Marketing is Freedom that marathon becomes so much more enjoyable. . .and promising. The more you read it, the more you shall receive from it to move you closer and closer to the dreams, goals, and desires of your life.

We all have dreams. Dreams are needed by all of us. We need them to live as much as we need food and water to live. They are needed for us to bring forth the best part of who we are and were created to become. If we do nothing to become the best person we were created to be, we insult our creator. And we deny ourselves all our creator wants to bestow upon us.
