My Best Financial Decision Culminated from Panic Mode

That’s right, My Best Financial Decision Culminated from Panic Mode. We all know panic is not when life-changing choices are made. When things in my life are going along okay, I tend to be a bit blasé. Not negligent. Just not willing to rock the boat. Furthermore, it is often said you should not make any life-altering decisions when you are in crisis mode. Folks I gotta tell ya’ll; if it weren’t for my most recent panic overloaded crisis mode, I would not have made what is turning out to be the best financial decision of my life.

In order to get the full picture

To get the full picture, I need to back up a few months. I saw a few times, an article on my web homepage about working from home posting ads online. Regrettably, I was not ready to take the time to read the article. So, I downloaded it for future scrutiny.

I was whittling away at my bills, slowly, granted but as the saying goes the slow turtle wins the race in the end. A week after I received confirmation, that I had indeed paid off a small, long-term-high-interest loan, my car broke down to the point I had to have it towed to my mechanic. I seriously thought the repair bill would be at least one thousand dollars or more. Before my mechanic had my car fixed, and on one of the hottest days of summer, my AC unit quit working. Another bill was going to put me into more debt than the 4-year-long bill I had just paid off.

I immediately went into high-stress-ugly-sobbing-panic mode. You know, the one where you feel as if you are hanging over the edge of the financial abyss by your fingernails. Furthermore, I knew if I moved too quickly, my lips wouldn’t be the only thing underwater. Yep! That’s where I was. I knew I needed a job! FAST. I needed to make money and the sooner the better. If I had a printing press, I’d have given that a try to make money. Literally. Pun intended!

Unfortunately, after just having a full hip replacement five weeks earlier, being a door greeter at Walmart was out of the question. So was anything that required me to drive to and from work. For two reasons. My car was in the shop and I was not allowed to drive for three months after surgery. This elevated the “I’m drowning financially” hysteria mode. Unfortunately, the only way I’m going to get rich quick is if I win the Powerball and we know what the odds are of THAT happening.

In a typical brick-and-mortar business, you are the boss.

You stand alone. You may have employees however; they are looking to you for guidance and information. To whom do you go for guidance and success information? Who can give you advice on how to avoid the trial-and-error method of running a business? The trial-and-error method is a down-the-slippery-slope into business failure. Granted, there are people you can consult— if you can afford the fee they charge. And, you learn early on in the self-employed venture NOT to consult the naysayer family and friends. On top of that, once you do fail, you get to listen to the naysayer family and friends snigger and say, “I told you so!” They feel justified in saying it because they feel they know best. They have seen you go down this break-away-from-the-40-40-40 life work plan more than once and failed— miserably. They aren’t trying to be mean; they are just trying to save you from yourself and the pain of failure. Or so they say.

The 40-40-40 Life Work Plan

They tell you the 40-40-40 life work plan is there for a reason and you need to follow it. They beg you to stop trying to be something you are not meant to be or do. You counter their argument with all those people who have started and succeeded in owning their businesses. Why couldn’t you be just like one of them? Their answer is breath-sucking, heart-stopping, confidence-shattering, and motivation-sapping. “Because you are not the type of person who is meant to be that type of successful!” Any other explanation or reasoning that followed went unheard.

When I finally stopped banging my head against the preverbal frustration wall, I remembered the Work from Home article I had downloaded many weeks prior. I opened it up. I listened to the message. Because of their promised training, it sounded interesting and not too difficult even though I am not the most tech-savvy person in the world. Far from it! The other hindering factor I had to overcome before I decided is I am one of the most skeptical persons I know. But, a voice, in the back of my head, I think my guardian, kept telling me to go for it; to dive right in. So, I did. Head first, as if I knew what I was letting myself in for, or knew what I was doing. My Best Financial Decision Culminated from Panic Mode.

Repeat the panic!

Unfortunately, I had more than one panic session where I doubted my decision and convinced myself I would never learn how to make my computer do what I needed it to do to succeed. Or to get the information to stick in my brain. Thankfully, my specialist person is infinitely patient. (A quality of which I am sorely lacking.) “Take a deep breath,” became one of the mantras frequently used with me. The other one, to this day, is, “Slow down,” as I zip the mouse around the computer screen at lightning speed. At every training session, my specialist person leads me, step-by-step, through the systems; repeating steps that I didn’t understand completely until I got it. The most surprising, unexpected, and gratifying aspect of this business choice I made is; that I don’t have just one personal specialist person, I have an entire community backing me up. Every person in this business community is cheering me on to ultimate success and to find true financial freedom.

With what I have learned with this program, I am no longer a crazed hysteric. At least not as often with this business opportunity and not as often. I’m still working on the crazed hysterics in my personal life. Baby steps, right?

I’m a blogger. And I am a network marketer. That sounds sooo cool! And it is words I never thought I would hear come out of my mouth! I have a blogging site. I post blogs and ads online from home. And I am having the time of my life doing so. My Best Financial Decision Culminated from Panic Mode. I share even the little successes with my personal specialist person and the entire community. The WOOHOO’s, yeas, good job, and ways-to-go are gratifying, encouraging, and so motivating, that I strive for the next level of success.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. The only way I am going to get rich quickly is to win the Powerball. However, with this post blog system and post ads online system, my success is a steady progression to how I want what is left of my life to become. It is also allowing me to grow into the ultimate best version of ME!
